Case of fictitious jobs
Retirement at age 52 with allowances from the mayor of Paris, during her career Anne Hidalgo was in parallel: member of the cabinet of the Keeper of the Seals and member of the Labor Inspectorate as well as first deputy to the mayor of Paris and regional advisor in 2004. An accumulation of mandates impossible to keep and which allowed him to have an early retirement.
For good reason, in January 2003, the accounts of the town hall of Paris demanded € 21,000 for reimbursement from Anne Hidalgo.
Thus, although she reimbursed the overpaid salary, Anne Hidalgo continued to accumulate seniority as well as pension rights. This allowed her to benefit from pensions from the age of 52 while she is still mayor at the mayor of Paris.
Resignation of Christophe Girard
The deputy for Culture of the mayor of Paris, Christophe Girard resigned on July 23, 2020, 3 days after the election of Anne Hidalgo, following pressure from environmentalists and feminists. They demanded the resignation of Christophe Girard since the start of the campaign because he was general secretary of the Yves Saint Laurent house from 1986 to 1987 and would have financially supported the writer Gabriel Matzneff, the infamous pedophile.
The "friendly" relations between Christophe Girard and Gabriel Matzneff prompted activists to demonstrate to obtain the suspension of the cultural assistant pending trial. Under the windows of the Hôtel de Ville, one could read on the signs “shame” and “Paris town hall welcome to pedoland”.
Anne Hidalgo for her part supports her deputy and writes on Twitter: “I am disgusted. In what democracy do we live where the law is trampled on by rumor, confusion and suspicion? All my support to my friend Christophe Girard ”.
Pierre Aidenbaum scandal
Pierre Aidenbaum, the new deputy mayor of Paris, was indicted for sexual assault in October 2020. Following this complaint, the mayor PS Anne Hidalgo asked him to immediately resign pending the outcome of the trial. This is the second resignation in connection with a sex scandal, with the departure of Christophe Girard in July of the same year.
The accused, who claims his innocence, wants to be heard as quickly as possible to free himself from any suspicion. Sexual relations with the alleged victim and collaborator of Pierre Aidenbaum would, according to him, be consented to and that nothing in this relationship would have been criminal. To this day, the trial is still ongoing.
